The 3M™ Half Facepiece Reusable Respirator Filter disc (2 disc per package) when used with the 6000 series mask offers protection from a wide variety of particulates and gases in many enviroments including those areas where lead dust is present. When using this filter discs your employees and sub-contractos will be in compliance with the RRP program from the EPA.
These discs are very effective for filtering out hazardous microscopic particles which will protect the user's respiratory system against particulates. Because of the low maintenance and cost when combined with the reuseable half face respirator, you can stop using the disposable paper masks which in turn will cut your costs. These filter discs only need to be changed out every 30 days or 40 hours** of use unless thay become torn or damaged or you find labored breathing when using the mask. This means no need for disposable masks, which in turn will lower the cost for you and your company while you still have access to a good quality NIOSH respirator that is RRP compliant.
This discs can be used in environments where an OSHA substance specific standard applies. These areas include but are not limited to:
